Postingan kali ini lebih berkesan dibandingkan review2 gw yang sebelumnya. Karena ini pertama kalinya gw mendapat kesempatan untuk mencoba snack lucu ini sebelum dilaunching ke public!

And I'm talking about "TAIYAKI PATISSERIE"

Taiyaki merupakan snack jepang berbentuk ikan yang di dalamnya diisi dengan bermacam2 tipe fillings seperti Soft Cream (Ice Cream), Sous custard, Hot Flavored cream, dll tergantung pembuatnya. Gw pernah nyobain Taiyaki di Pungopang (Pantai Indah Kapuk) dengan filling Soft (ice) Cream, dan di Itadakimasu (Pantai Indah Kapuk) dengan filling hot green tea custard. Dua2nya menarik dan memiliki kesamaan pada bahan utamanya, yaitu soft seperti waffle pada umumnya. Namun, ada yang berbeda dengan bahan Taiyaki dari Taiyaki Patisserie ini.

It's my 3rd Coffee Shop Review!

Everyweek, I hunt for at least one new coffee shop in Jakarta, because I'm a coffee addict! And this week, I have been so curious with a coffee shop around Pantai Indah Kapuk area, that has been a new hype for some coffee lovers / food bloggers. I'm talking about Pennyroyal Coffee.

Back to another coffee shop! This is Watt Coffee.

The name reminds me of Woot Coffee in Senopati Area. But this one has something to do with 'WATT'. Yes, it is lights! They put some light bulbs on the wall and some hanging on the top. Take a look at the decorations.

SIX OUNCES COFFEE - Kelapa Gading

A few weeks ago, we noticed there is a new coffee shop in Kelapa Gading area called Six Ounces Coffee. And since we love coffee so much, we finally went there 2 weeks ago (27 June 2015).

As a new guest, we got such a warm welcome from the owners. We talked to them about how we love coffee and they shared with us about the establishment of this coffee shop. The idea was from this guy who learned coffee in Australia and applied his skills by opening this coffee shop in Jakarta. He is the barista himself along some assistants we guess.

Back to the coffee business, we came here twice because the first time we visited there, we didn't try their coffee. Instead, we ordered Red Velvet Latte and Taro Latte.

Red Velvet Latte - IDR 30.000+

Taro Latte - IDR 30.000+

The red Velvet latte was very nice! its a typical thick & sweet, warm and relaxing kind of latte. Taro Latte in our taste was okay; it was very light, a little bit sweet and still has that Taro flavor. It reminds us with Taro Milk Tea from Chat Time if we could compare. Both latte were complemented with a glass of water.

House Blend Capucinno - IDR 30.000+

Picollo - IDR 30.000+

Macchiato - IDR 27.000+

So the second time we came here was yesterday (4 July 2015 - Happy Independence Day America!). And three of us tried three different coffees.

Normally people ordered their Capucinno, its a strong coffee we can tell. If you used to drink capucinno from a franchised coffee shop, then you might taste this a little bit bitter than usual. Then we tried Picollo because we wanted to try a bitter one than capucinno and yes! it was very strong and a little bit sour. It reminds us with Tanamera Coffee (but Tanamera is too sour for our taste). Picollo comes with a glass of water. The last one is Macchiato, its the most bitter one if you like it super strong! But we recommend the Capucinno for a medium strong coffee.

Reuben Sandwich - IDR 65.000+

While for the big bites, they currently have 2 choices of pasta and 3 choices of Sandwhich. We tried their Reuben Sandwich which is Sourdough toast with Gruyere, Smoked Beef Rib, Sauerkraut and Thousand Island. I know that sounds complicated, but well the Smoked Beef makes it perfect! you gotta try it.

Homemade Chicken Wings - Complimentary 

While we chatted with the owner, they gave us a complimentary Chicken Wings which was very delicious! The Tar Tar sauce was a homemade as well. Thanks for this :D

We sat on the bar side with all these beautiful decorations and overall we were very satisfied with the hospitality as well as the coffee! The owner loves to ask you some inputs for their coffee. And if you would like to customize the taste of your coffee, you can request to him directly!
