We had been really busy travelling at least for the past 2 weeks from Bangkok to Bandung, and we can finally get back to this blog! This time we are covering the most happening coffee shop in Bandung: 180 Coffee & Music! I wasn't particularly interested to cover any more new coffee shop lately, I just felt like they were all offering the same thing. But then, this one really caught my attention. I was in Bandung from 17 - 18 September 2016 and actually to attend my friends' wedding on Saturday night. So, we departed from Jakarta at 8:15 AM and arrived in Bandung at 12:30 PM. We decided to have a quick lunch at 180 Coffee & Music after looking at some food blogger's posts a few day earlier. Its really exciting as the concept of 'Dining on a pool' is really new, fun and unique.
The room is pretty spacious and has 2 floors, but I didn't manage to take a look on the second floor too bad :( But the first floor is really big and is divided into a few sections.
We sat on the side of the glass, just next to the pool. I didn't want to get my feet wet, but Lucy really wanted to try there actually. Maybe next time :D
This is the most talked about area, the pool! You can actually dine here on the pool and share your smelly feet with the other customers, lol. kidding! Its pretty cool and interesting, but I was thinking that my feet was gonna get wrinkled. So, never mind maybe next time :p
Back to their indoor, the table and the chairs are very petite like I almost looked like an elephant sitting there :p
They also have this tall chairs which for me is more comfortable actually, but you can not get the round table for a beautiful flatlay photo, oops!
All the decorations are classic, minimalist, nicely picked and really suit the coffee shop theme. I love every single corner of this place, its really instagenic!
I started off with their Iced Vietnamese Coffee (25k), well I love cold served coffee especially when it has condensed milk in it. I must say that this one was not really my favorite. It wasn't bad actually but I somehow could make it better at home. Sorry to say this because I kinda tasted it similar to what I normally made at home. And its just half a normal glass :(
Lucy tried their Avocado Coffee (29k) and it was pretty good actually! If I have to describe this coffee, imagine having thick avocado juice with condensed milk and some coffee. The ice cream float was nice too :)
This Egg Florentine (55k) is actually not their signature menu but it is on the very top of the menu. I love love love this so much! The croissant was soft, a little bit sweet and salty. There are poached egg, sauteed spinach, mix salad, creamy mushroom and holandaise sauce. The only odd stuff here is the holandaise sauce, it was too thick that I didn't realize it was Holandaise sauce, kinda like firm cream on puff pastry. But the sour mayo and the poached egg really stood out and made it the perfect lunch for me! Very recommended.

Lucy tried their Salmon Au Gratin (79k). Its a grilled salmon served with potato gratin, broccoli and pepper sauce. Sorry not my favorite again. Quite disappointed with this, its really lacking the simple seasonings. They only lightly seasoned it that I didn't taste any flavor. The Salmon itself was kinda watery on the inside like they grilled it directly out of the freezer. The salad with balsamic vinegratte was the best one of the dish :p
[SUMMARY] Despite some dissapointment from the coffee and the Salmon, this place gave us a really new experience on a coffee shop standard. Their price is reasonable, the ambience was really nice and cozy. I would definitely come back and try more food next time.
