The name Meirton Fine Dine sounds like a luxurius fine dining restaurant, but wait! Its actually not. It just simply means a fine casual cafe serving many of the finest food. Meirton is located at 18 Office Park building, TB Simatupang. Despite having little knowledge about this area, its actually easily accessible from jalan Gatot Subroto or Rasuna Said. This cafe has been opening ever since the building started operating a year ago. What makes it special? Let's have a look.
18 Office Park building is located in an area similar to SCBD in the most southern part of Jakarta. If you work around this area or in this building, you have to try it at least once :) For us, Meirton is so underrated that for a fine cafe like this, they are supposed to charge the price higher. Because they have these beautiful concept, interior, and menus. Its just the target market that sets the price lower, so that everybody (especially employees) can dine here. Meirton is open from Monday to Friday only (Weekend closes) and the operating hour is 11 AM - 8 PM
The room was quite dimmed in the evening, and so we had a hard time capturing the interior without proper light. We set the camera's ISO to 6400 which in result degrading the photo quality and the color production. I know this sounds so technical, but that's the only reason why the photo look like purpleish if you take a look at the chair. The chair is supposed to look blue actually not purple.
The room itself is quite spacious and can fill up to maybe 70 - 80 people at one time. The peak hour is during lunch time when building's employees come down to have lunch here. I can imagine myself having lunch here because the menu selections are quite vary and many!

For the beverages, we tried two drinks: Mojito and Hot Latte. We loved the Mojito, its sweet, refreshing with a hint of sour from lime. The latte was okay but you can try many different beverages here including cocktails or beer. They actually have a Buy 1 Get 1 beverage offer this month. For appetizer, we tried Cheese Croquette with Smoked Beef. Its crispy on the outside and very smooth in the inside. This is a nice light meal before your entrees.
We tried Meirton Basil Pizza for the main course. Its a typical thin crust pizza with basil pesto as the base, paprika, and cherry tomato. We quite enjoyed the crispiness texture and the overall flavor from the basil. Its sharable for 2 - 3 people.
Who can resist meat? Well, steak is a must when visiting here. This is T-Bone Steak with butter, french fries, and salad in vinaigrette. Its quite big for the whole portion and what made us surprised was that the price is only IDR 130.000++ Where else can you find the same or lower price at a similar fine class like Meirton? I believe its hard to find. The meat was cooked perfectly and pinkish in the middle which I like the most. The only criticism is the sauce was too thick, but maybe we rested it for a while during our photoshoot :p The salad was fine with a simple vinaigrette dressing.
Last but not least, dessert for the closing! We had this Pavlova which is stacks of soft puff (like in a puff cream) with vanilla cream and assorited fruits (kiwi, strawberry, mango, and cherry). Its just a perfect dessert to end the meal. We really loved it!
