On 25 December 2016, we celebrated Christmas with our best blogger friends. We planned it like so close to the day until we decided to pick Mocking Bird just the day before. We thought that the place, like the white modern interior gonna suit our white Christmas celebration. And that was right, we really loved the outdoor! Mocking Bird is located at the second floor of Shophaus in Menteng. They claim themselves as the one of most affordable fine dining steak restaurant. What do you think? Well, lets check it out.
Seriously, bulan December ini penuh dengan libur (at least buat gw --> Jeffri). Tapi intensitas kita berdua buat hunting makanan tidak se hectic dan se penuh bulan November kemarin yang Sabtu atau Minggu bisa loncat sana sini 3 - 4 tempat sekaligus. Kebetulan ada satu hari pas kita mau ke Alam Sutera buat lihat2 furniture di toko A** dan I***, jadi kita sekalian mampir ke Homebrew ini. On 12 December 2016, we decided to stay one night at one of our 'wishlists' places to stay in Jakarta: Keraton. Its a long story to tell why we finally landed at this luxurious hotel. Its certainly not endorsement whatsoever, but our stay here was truely one of the best in Jakarta. I believe a lot of you who read this have heard or even tried the latest Gelato shop in town: ARoma Gelato. Since ARoma is an original brand from Italy, Jakarta is their first official store in Asia! We actually visited here on 4th December 2016 when they were still soft-launched. We got the previledge to try a few of their flavors from gelato in a cup to their affogato. We actually rarely visited Mexican Restaurant in Jakarta, not only because the high priced food, but also the number is countable with fingers like where else? Christmas comes early! Suasana Natal sudah terasa dari awal bulan December. Dan kami diundang oleh Tesate untuk mencicipi langsung menu special khusus menyambul hari Natal ini. Acaranya cukup sederhana dengan dekorasi khas Natal, namun kami sangat menikmati semua hidangan plus perbincangan yang panjang dengan sesama teman Food-Bloggers. Gw jatuh hati pada pandangan pertama dengan tempat ini. Nama nya Plataran Dharmawangsa, entah ini tempat sudah lama atau masih baru, karena terus terang belum pernah denger. Dan hari minggu kemarin (5 December 2016) dapet undangan ulang tahun keponakan di sini dan lumayan suprise ketika lihat dekor dalamnya bagus banget untuk tema restoran Indonesia. Thanks to my latest camera :p But the reason why we came here is to attend the launch of the new menus at Bottega Ristorante. We were here once with our friends for a nice casual hang out and we were quite surprised with the exquisite European style interior. It has not changed ever since but the spark is still there. We tasted 5 main courses and 2 desserts, AND the event was sponsored by Urban Remedy Indonesia.
Kali ini kita mau review cafe and resto terbaru dibilangan Rempoa, Tangerang. Namanya adalah PGP Cafe. Terus terang kurang paham dengan silsilah nama PGP itu sendiri, yang pasti gak nyangka banget tempatnya kaya bistro2 ala western yang mengingatkan gw pada cafe di Bandung. Lokasinya deket banget dengan jalan utama di Pondok Indah, jadi masih terbilang strategis lokasinya. Yuk baca selengkapnya.
