Finally made it here earlier this March 2017. Sebagai penggemar pork sejati (lebay), gw gak boleh melewatkan restoran porkie terbaru yang satu ini. Lokasinya di Pluit, di seberang PLTA Pluit. Jadi konsep nya ini seperti kita di dalam truk trailer dengan dominan warna merah di dalam nya. Sederhana sih interior nya, karena ini tempat makan yang casual dan nyantai buat sekedar makan dan nongkrong2. Makanannya? Well ini specialist nya Nasi Bali Babi dan berbagai jenis babi2an yaa. Kurang lebih seperti kita makan nasi babi di Bali gitu lah kaya di Pak Malen, Pak Dobiel, dan sejenisnya. Mendingan baca review selengkapnya aja ya :)
Guys, tanggal 24 Maret 2017 kemarin gw dapet kesempatan buat meliput event memasak yang super unik! Udah baca dong judul postingan blog ini? Fun Kitchen Tea Inspired Competition by Dilmah with Peter Kuruvita! Jadi event ini terselenggara berkat Dilmah Tea Indonesia yang memboyong Celebrity Chef asal Australia Chef Peter Kuruvita. Kenapa dibilang Fun Kitchen, ya karena kompetisi ini memang fun aka menyenangkan sekaligus menambah pengetahuan tentang masak memasak. Gw sendiri suka bereksperimen dengan teh walaupun bukan untuk memasak ya. Jadi gw suka mencampurkan berbagai jenis teh dengan buah2an atau susu, dan bahan2 lainnya. Terus gimana sih keseruan memasak dengan bahan utamanya teh Dilmah? Nah ikutin yang liputannya.

Just a quick update if you haven't heard about Nibble App, its a Mobile based app where you can search for any food recommendation around Jakarta! Anyway back to Honu, this petite cafe is offering mostly poke bowl: healthy bowl with fresh tuna or salmon. I personally rarely have this kind food, so its very interesting to actually try it here. Don't expect to have a lot of different kinds of food here as they only have a few lists. But for sure its very distinctive from many other new cafes. Let's go!
You may call me so yesterday, but the fact that this is my very first time visiting Giyanti Coffee is truely ashamed of me! I was invited so many times by my friends last year but I never really made it here. And I was quite surprised when I came here 18 March 2017 when they already renovated the whole cafe into a brand new Giyanti. I have to admit that this is currently my most favorite coffee shop in Jakarta! It was so comfortable sitting here either alone or with friends sipping some coffee and having some light pastries. I made this post just to share you how beautiful the cafe is! So have look!
Finally, Its opening: Yagami Ramen House at Gading Serpong. Last Sunday (12 March 2017) we drove ourselves from Kelapa Gading to Gading Serpong just to try this newly opened ramen house. You know what, its really cheap! Starting from just as low as 20k, you can get a bowl of super tasty ramen. I was sceptical at first, because tasty ramen broth requires lots of chicken to cook. But surprisingly, the broth was super thick and creamy. And they have a buy 1 get 1 ramen promo until 19 March 2017, so check out here for more detail!
Yes, that's me with Ms Dian Sastrowardoyo and the other 4 owners of MAM restaurant at Senayan City. I got the previledge to come to their private food tasting on 14 March 2017. It was really fun and enjoyable, especially when the owners came personally to our table and explained about the concept of the food and the restaurant. Its glad to know that the food comes from the idea of healthy eating. If you have ever heard healthy diet food by 3 Skinny Minnies, then this restaurant is developed based on the same healthy diet. Let me introduce you to The All New Asia Restaurant 2017 at Ritz Carlton Kuningan! Asia Restaurant has been one of my most visited buffet restaurant in a 5 star hotel for the past few years. Even more than buffet shabu shabu in a shopping mall, I know you won't believe me! But, Asia often offers you a very great deal for lunch or dinner. Last time I visited Asia was December 2016 when my nephew celebrated his 3rd birthday. It was still the old Asia Restaurant back then and now, I was stunned by the massive changes of the interior. I noticed that for the past few months, a few new fresh cafe/bistro are coming from Lingkar Mega Kuningan Area; a place that has been the favorite for super big companies. Now, it turns out to be a new favorite hang out places besides Senopati, SCBD, Thamrin, etc. Introducing FAT SHOGUN with its tagline 'Nikkei Rediscovered'. Basically they are trying to offer you a totally new concept, the combination of Japanese and Peruvian Cuisines. Its pretty exciting to know what's coming in front of us when we imagine these two countries mixed together. So, let's have a look!
So, we happened to have a short trip to Bogor on 5th March 2017 with our (bloggers) friends. And we didn't plan much about the trip because its all about having fun. One thing about Bogor is that the average shops / restaurants open at 11 AM. As we arrived earlier, we visited a coffee shop for an hour before heading to our lunch at Pajajaran Tomyum at Jalan Pajajaran Indah. This is quite possibly one of the very few Authentic Thai Restaurants in Bogor. Its very spacious and can cater up to 70-80s people on the first floor, while on the second floor they have two smaller Private rooms. We really enjoyed our lunch here with friends and all the food here have been customized to the taste of Indonesian people. So, lets check it out!
Guys, have you heard about the latest cafe/bistro by Rock Paper Scissors? FYI, its still from the same group of Bottega Ristorante and Wilshire! Two restaurants that have a great reputation for serving fine Western cuisines in a very classy European style interior. This time Rock Paper Scissors or I call it RPS is serving a relatively different food genre which is Modern Japanese Cuisines in a very beautiful open space clean & glassy concept. We love being here, especially with the outdoor ambience but still in an airconditioned room. So, get ready for our food review here!
