Sisterfields Jakarta - PIK Avenue

From Bali to Jakarta, YES Sisterfield is finally opening this 10 March 2018! Its been a while like months since the first time we heard their upcoming Jakarta outlet. And we finally got the chance to attend the Grand Opening event of the restaurant on 9 March 2018. We both are fans of Sisterfields in Bali and as far as we remember we have been visiting there twice. This store is the answer of what Jakartans have been requesting for, especially delicious Aussie style brunch! Though we didn't really taste their food during the Grand Opening event, we eventually took some pictures for you guys to see for the first time! Let's have a look.

The guy in the middle (sorry we forgot the name) is the owner of Sisterfields in Bali and the rightmost is the franchise holder for the Jakarta's outlet (which is also the franchise holder of Hurricane's Grill and Toby's Estate in Jakarta). It was a pleasure to hear their success story of Sisterfields in Bali.

Next they live-showcased some of their signature dishes for Sisterfields Jakarta (which is slightly different from the one in Bali). Bali and Jakarta are two different cities with a major different characteristic of the people and the lifestyle. While people in Bali enjoy breakfast and brunch, people in Jakarta enjoy lunch and dinner (in a restaurant). Based on this habit, Sisterfields Jakarta creates a few new menus that certainly suits the local habit. 

We unfortunately didn't get the chance to taste the food, but here are some that we captured during the event. Some menus are exclusive for Jakarta's outlet only.

Last but not least, we watched how the bartender created his signature cocktail. It was such a fun and happy night! Thank you for having us and pretty sure we gonna visit their outlet for more food!

Chocolate Brioche French Toast (95k) - soft and fluffy chocolate brioche with yoghurt sorbet and banana.

Sticky Nam Jim Pork Belly (140k) - thick fat juicy and tender pork belly with Asian vermicelli salad and peanuts. Top skin was super crispy, definitely a perfectly cooked pork belly.
